Avey & Son is headed by Phil Avey a time served craftsman with a wealth of construction knowledge. Phil has been taking contracts on since 1994 & has constructed or refurbished mostly anything you wish to mention ranging from swimming pools for Wyre Forest District Council, apartment blocks in Birmingham for Norwest Holst, Wetherspoon public houses, luxury barn developments, individual private housing to extensions to peoples personal residences. Phil says “I realised early on that I enjoyed building & taking projects on from nothing to leaving buildings standing proud for centuries to come & long after I had gone. With this responsability I recognised I had to do my best, which is also in my nature making my children proud of my legacy. I also recognised that people are wary of builders & the reputation they have. I set out to change this perception & set myself some simple rules.

1. Always be accountable for your work.
2. Have a base where people can come & discuss their ongoing or future projects.
3. Always answer the phone good or bad news.
4. Always be on time & let the client know everything that is going on.
5. Make sure all your work force know second best will not do.
6. Always try to be the best in whatever you are doing.
