This project showed how Avey & Son’s approach to delivering a high-quality job can lead to valued repeat business.

Weatherite got in contact in 2009 on the recommendation of a member of staff, for whom Phil Avey had completed a second storey extension project in 1998. Having worked to a high spec, it paid off with repeat business 11 years later and continues until today, with varied future projects discussed and ongoing maintenance delivered.

The contract was to form a concrete pad for a 40-ton test rig to be sited on. The only problem was the 45-degree slope at the edge of the pad, which led to a nearby brook. A plan was devised using our experience and completed in two weeks to the pleasure of senior management, who have indicated future partnership work will be sought.
