A ground floor extension for the head of DEFRA made maximum use of the space for this 1840s-built property in Wollaston, thanks to Avey & Son. As well as a kitchen extension, the new space included a utility room and a shower room.
Enjoying a fantastic relationship with the owner, Avey & Son were able to ensure the client had full use of their home while extensive structural works were performed to connect the old house to the new extension. The key to this contract was to mix the old feel of the existing house with the new extension, giving it a seamless feel. All the work was carried out while the owner was able to carry out important government working the during the challenging Covid-19 pandemic and Brexix preparations.
